In 2013, Lucas embarked on a journey through Africa that would deeply touch him and leave an ever lasting impression. His incredible journey commenced during a Tour where Lucas was introduced to Gift, a seasoned guide from Zimbabwe. This chance encounter served as the spark, igniting a profound passion within Lucas for the diverse and awe-inspiring landscapes of Africa. In the subsequent years, Lucas and Gift made a concerted effort to collaborate as frequently as their schedules allowed. Lucas made regular trips to southern Africa during his semester breaks, where he assumed the role of a dedicated guide on various tours, solidifying his hands-on experience and deepening his connection to the region.
